This website has been set up by Rotherham MBC’s Resident Engagement Team. It aims to find out what residents think of the housing and estate management services provided by the local authority and to keep you informed of what’s happening on your estates.

It is very much your site. It allows you to air your views on your housing or neighbourhood and to tell us what you think we are doing well or should do more of.

We work directly with residents through Area Housing Panels and by attending various events across the borough, including those arranged by partners such as RotherFed. But the beauty of Residents’ Voice is that if you are unable to attend these then you can still have your say by simply posting comments on a theme that is important to you or by joining in any discussions. And you can do this at a time that suits you from the comfort of your own home. You can also start your own discussion topics to see what others’ feel or to see if fellow residents have encountered similar things and – if so – how they have overcome them.

In doing so, you will find yourself part of an online community that is dedicated to enhancing not only the quality of social housing provision across the borough but also the quality of life for residents.
